Long range artillery supplied by Nato countries will be arriving in Ukraine over the next 2 weeks. Malcolm Nance, who is fighting with the International Brigade, was on the 3pm World Service news saying that artillery is Russia's only real advantage, and that the new stuff, which has a longer range than the Russian stuff, will change the balance of the war.
Some details of the artillery here https://www.thenationalnews.com/world/europe/2022/04/25/nato-pins-hopes-on-heavy-artillery-drones-and-radar-to-blunt-russian-offensive and here https://www.defensenews.com/global/europe/2022/04/25/the-race-is-on-britain-moves-to-get-heavy-artillery-to-ukraine/'

Russian tactic has always been to smash everything with artillery. Easier for minimally trained conscripts to conquer vacant rubble.
Also supports Russian love of senseless vandalism- see destruction of Antonov Mriya. -

Russians are halting gas supplies to Poland and Bulgaria tomorrow because they refused to pay in roubles. Turn your thermostats down, kids!

Putin's in a bind now. The Donbas attack has stalled and the new weapons for Ukraine will change everything. The returning embassy staff in Kyiv, the new confidence of Nato countries that they're backing the winning side, the UK's encouragement of Ukraine to attack targets in Russia....Putin's going to do something extreme. He's already told his public that Nato is attacking Russia. He needs to wipe out a Nato arms convoy or flatten Kyiv or something.

Putin is trying to stir up shit in Moldava.
Russian guys in the Transnistra part are going to attack Ukraine from the rear and force Ukraine to pull troops away from the Russian front.
BTW Putin looks like crap in his latest pics.
Hope he is suffering and dies soon. -

There's a rumour he has cancer and is using beauty treatments to preserve his appearance.

Very interesting situation with Transnistria - it belongs to Moldova but with three decades of life in breakaway state where nobody recognises your "independence" I wonder how easy would be it's integration if Ukraine liberated it and gave it back to Moldova. If Moldova wants it, of course. As far as I understand there are bunch of pro Russian political parties who would oppose any action against Transnistria.
Speaking of troops - I don't think they have sufficient military power to do anything.

Transnistra is hosting Russian troops and would welcome more.

Is this on top of the Parkinsons rumours, or a different theory?

According to this, there are many, many theories! https://unherd.com/thepost/does-vladimir-putin-have-cancer-parkinsons-or-dementia/

A gem from Arestovych interview - he's a showman for sure and everything must be taken with a grain of salt but still.
Red army doesn't know how to fight when they're few. They always want
to have 20 times more soldiers but it creates an additional challenge.
They've got so crammed in those narrow passages in between demolished
bridges and small rivers that they couldn't move. A convoy length of
30-40 kilometers - you could shoot them with eyes closed and you
wouldn't miss. -

The cancer theories are far fetched but Putin exhibits classic symptoms of Parkinson's. Meeting Lukashenko the other day he was forced to shove his right hand against his chest to stop it shaking. Then his right leg began to tremble. You never see Putin gesticulate when making speeches because he has to grip on to something to stop the tremors. He probably hopes no one has noticed.

This was so badly executed it feels like a case of malicious compliance.

The general idea is that Hvaldimir was trained by the Russian navy. There can't really be any other explanation as to why someone would invest that much time in taming him then make no effort to let anyone know once he escaped.
It's not cool. Whatever training Hvaldimir was given it has rendered him completely useless at fending for himself in the wild. The local community had to spend serious money feeding him large quantities of store bought fish on a daily basis.

What about when he was giving his speech stood in the middle of the stadium with nothing to hold apart from the microphone?
I still blame Ed Miliband!
