I agree :(
But I'd take the arancini with a St Bernardus triple.

Is that because you've been selling organs to fund your bike habit?

If you could have some sort of "warning warning warning these shorts are now transparent to those behind you!" located somewhere easily visible, that would be ace.
I'm sure there are people, like me, who would love to know their prized bibs are X rated.

How did you like the gore tex jacket?
I just got one in the yellow. I'm taking it this weekend for the Highland Fling 1000 audax which has a good chunk of rain forecast.
I'll report back on how it compares to my older rapha rain jackets

Sorry, I'm done with the thread derailing commentary.

Has anyone used seam seal tape to repair holes in rain capes/shakedry before?

Also used this - thanks!

So the big question is whose clothing do you wear? Are you some kind of a brand mix and mismatcher, cut off denim shorts and a band T-shirt, or are you a all year round commuter in knee length rugby socks and a hi viz construction workers jacket?

MAAPs cool again, but for me it's all way too race fit.
100%, Rapha is much more relaxed and still feel a little racy.

PT aero says otherwise

I would use a goretex repair patch.

I've made my Rapha PT bed and will sadly remain in it, the scrotum wants what the scrotum wants.
I am looking at Albion though, but don't know if I can handle the collar on the jersey. PT Aero jersey collar is perfect.
Which is in fact a non-discussed topic, jersey neckline. Who can actually stand a collar longer than a few mm, or no collar at all. Not taking the ridiculous Sagan neckline into account. (latest Van Aert kit also non-approved neckline)

That's my impression as well - I love what they're doing and the alt road collection looks very gorpcore and nice but when inspecting individual pieces they look veeery tight fitting.

Yeah which is specifically racey, whether normal outfit fit more like actual human being.

Ok.
Also, you mean Whereas, not Whether -

I quite like a bit of a collar on stuff, it just feels smarter. That said I always wear everything slightly unzipped.. maybe I have a thick neck lol. Definitely would never wear the Sagan style super low cut, even if it is more aero.

i need to wear a buff or equivalent pretty much year round not to get sore-throats, so either need a really high collar, or a no collar at all which makes it less bulky with a buff.

Sounds like a perfect test, thanks in advance. I have the shadow rain jacket which I like but it’s a little snug around the body and shoulders. I can’t have an insulated gilet underneath

Finally tried my new assos cargo bibs which I got instead of PNS when somebody here on forum pointed out assos has cargo bibs these days.
I like Rapha pockets more! They feel a little bit tighter yet stretchier. On assos the pockets feel a little more loose and also there's something like a fold from inside the pocket probably to keep phone from falling out. Which makes it a little harder to pull it out.
Also I didn't get this nice unpacking feeling I was getting when unpacking new Rapha items....
Maybe i'm not done with Rapha after all...
sounds lush tbh
