  • I couldn’t contain the curiosity anymore… I contacted the boutique in London to ask what’s the best way to try the SBGP003. They got back to me basically saying “buy it and see”. So, I did. It’s shiny AF, but looks so good. Very slim, slightly too big for me (interestingly), but the indices catch the light in the most beautiful way. Even indoors it just looks so good.
I’m pretty sure it’s going back, but daaaamn…

  • ?? Big?? Doesnt look big. Never tried on a grand seiko, or saw one up close even, curious to see them in real life.. saw this one on instagram earlier and i love it.

  • I had the 37mm SBGx261 before and that was perfect. Maybe it’s not too big, I just would prefer it a bit smaller, I guess. I’m trying to be picky, so I can return it and forget it as if I was to keep it I’d need to sell a watch. And I don’t really have one I want to part with 😵‍💫 trying to live a normal life in these crazy times.

  • Those are lovely and wear really nicely. They wear very slim, they are thin at the sides and curve gently up - obviously designed to fit under a cuff. Again, visually slightly larger than a trad dress watch at 38.5mm, but for a lot of people nowadays I think it's a great size.

Also hand-wound spring drive, which is a rarity.

  • Away in Cardiff for a conference and they've got loads of watch shops here. I saw this model yesterday actually. Happy to try and get some snaps if they let me out at any point!
