  • This particular artist is prevalent down my way. But I cannot place that.
Is that my Pomp in the pic?

  • As @theflatboy says, old is the location of the Earth Exchange. A hippie venue which operated from the mid '70s into the early '80s and is one of my earliest memories of London.

  • He does seem pretty prolific in a lot of places!

    Ha, could be ๐Ÿ‘€

  • Old: Grafitti by Nathan Bowen, on the Strand/ Kemble corner.

    New:
Just slightly further than V along a different Royal Path.

  • Good good, was worried my clue was a bit too obscure ๐Ÿ˜

  • Ok: new clue-
You don't have to study at the RA to find this Oasis, but another institution might help.

  • Well, at least it's not the King's Drive, that's all I'll say :)

  • Old: funfair just setting up in Putney - by Queenโ€™s Ride

New: a quadrangle to claw back

  • Excellent.

  • Very nice. If still there tomorrow, I might go for a spin.

  • It's odd when I have connections to both Old and New (and they're as far apart as they are). I live not far from the Old, and go running past there occasionally, and every Thursday I drink in a pub right next to the New (and a friend used to live in one of the houses in the shot).

[Those houses have an interesting story which I'll save for when it's known as I don't want to give anything away.]

Intriguing - will be keen to hear this

  • House that were famous [CENSORED] and other [CENSORED] [CENSORED] [CENSORED] sideways and [CENSORED] with a melon.

    ^ Not a clue.

  • Old: Walcot Square SE11

  • Walcot Square SE11

Many of those houses there are still owned by the Walcot Foundation and are rented out rather than giving in to capitalist greed.

Apparently (and this is from a friend who lived there for a while) one of the criteria that gets you bumped higher up the waiting list is being born in the borough of Lambeth.

  • Nice - very laudable. I'm a big fan of the rows of chimney pots.

  • Old tag. East Street on corner of Walworth road. SE17

Famous for Charlie Chaplin. Tough to get pic on a market day.
