As @theflatboy says, old is the location of the Earth Exchange. A hippie venue which operated from the mid '70s into the early '80s and is one of my earliest memories of London.

It's odd when I have connections to both Old and New (and they're as far apart as they are). I live not far from the Old, and go running past there occasionally, and every Thursday I drink in a pub right next to the New (and a friend used to live in one of the houses in the shot).

Many of those houses there are still owned by the Walcot Foundation and are rented out rather than giving in to capitalist greed.
Apparently (and this is from a friend who lived there for a while) one of the criteria that gets you bumped higher up the waiting list is being born in the borough of Lambeth.
