Same question! My daysack from 2015 is still going strong. But quite annoying that you can't put a kleen kanteen in the pocket without significantly reducing pack space. Would love to add that feature..

Could be interested in panniers...

@jtrent90 Great to see you back Jordan! I’ve always loved your backpacks, am I right in assuming you’re a mountaineer/climber? They have more than a whiff of late 80s Karrimor simplicity about them ;)
Good luck with the business, hopefully will have a reason to buy from you soon(if my collection of 80s-90s karrimor packs and panniers ever dies). -

Yep, the daysack was heavily inspired by early Karrimor designs.
I spend most of my time bouldering at the local gym, but I've got heaps of good climbing on my doorstep.

I’m gonna scratch my head and have a think. I used to have a great rope bag from my tree work days but was open mesh.
A dedicated narrow haul bag type affair to take a full length abseil rope and beefy slings that I can launch off sea cliffs would be ace…
I don’t really spend enough time on big routes to justify it at the moment but I think I know how it could work…. -

I have this same issue too!

It's a service I'd gladly provide if it didn't mean total destruction of the original bag! Their solidness is somewhat their downfall when you take them apart...

Good to see you back here.
Just bumping this thread as my daysack that you made has been in constant use for over 6 years and is still in great condition. -

Just thought I'd post up some panniers I've been working on
They're around 250mm wide, 330mm tall and 140mm deep. Makes them about 12L each or so. They've got handy exterior pockets too. They're just simple, compact and tough.

those look good. Do they have any off-bike carrying straps or handles? I have some Upso panniers (that I really dislike in many ways) that have a shoulder strap incorporated which is useful for
hauling on rough stuff adventuresshopping etc -
• #38
They have handles on the back, and I will be chucking a D ring on the sides for that very reason, easy job!

Like the look of the daysac, what litres capacity would you estimate it at? Couldn't see it on the website. Thanks

They look really nice!
What's the mounting fixture like? -
• #41
They're standard hook and bungee. Old school but incredibly tough. I broke every form of plastic hook during testing.
I am going to offer Arkel hardware as an upgrade, or as standard if I can secure them for a good price. Really no huge functional difference, they're just a nice touch for those who want them.

Cool I'll drop you a PM!

Liking your stuff, and looking for a replacement 20+ ltr commuter bag in a bright red or similar air vent down the back chest and waist clips plus a outside zipped pocket for spare stuff. No mesh required and waterproof.

Thank you!
I'll double check tomorrow but that should be absolutely fine. You'd probably want some other bits in there too so it sits nicely.

these look great, I didn't think that I needed panniers until now

Bump for a great craftsman! Still use my daysack routinely, going strong after over 5 years of abuse. Just ordered another of the medium waterproof zipped pouches, they're perfect for keeping things dry in a jersey pocket when out on a ride.

Thanks for the kind words!
I've just got some posh fabrics in from Challenge Sailcloth/Outdoor. I can use them across the entire range for a little extra cost.
To celebrate I just released my own interpretation of the stem bag, it's rigid throughout.

I'm going to formally release the panniers soon too, feel free to PM me if you're interested in a set ahead of then.
Cheers!

Bump for my pouch and tool roll still going strong after about 10 years!
I can make panniers! I've got stacks of hardware, and am actually considering developing them for sale as part of the main range
