My mate has just bought a Touran as he and his wife have had twins after having 1 child already and I was impressed by it. Drives like a car, feels spacious inside, lots of child friendly/storage features, doesn't look terrible. I'd rather get a big estate/hatch like my Superb but if you absolutely must have 3 rows of seats then I think the Touran is a good shout.
Another friend who had an unexpected 3rd child during lockdown went for a brand new C4 grand Picasso and he reckons it is a step above the Touran in terms of functionality and features, and this is coming from a guy who changes cars twice a year sometimes so has experienced a lot of different cars.
It’s less about 3 rows of seats, although pop up seats in the boot deffo seems handy in the cmax, and more about big doors and slightly higher seats to make getting baby and young child into car seats easier.
