Bars Down Hoods Up!

This seems to cause issues out there.

Here's an example of good bar/lever setup.

I think you misunderstand me.
Bars Down = rotated down not mounted lower.
Your bar rotation and hood placement looks correct. What I would question in your submitted photo is the bar tape bulk under the hoods making the transition uneven

Ah, yes. I taped over the holes in the shifter body, where these lumps under the hood are meant to fit

I removed yours. It was in the BDHU folder but it is actually fine

You know things are serious when you have a dedicated folder

And while we're getting everyone to BDHU, cover your fucking lever clamps with those bits of tape that come in the box with rolls of bartape. Please!

I'm currently swapping to risers, just to be safe

Bad bartape is a thread of its own. That can be my 2023 project

Droopy risers or ugly pointy ones are just as bad tho

Just so I’m clear, how is this? I think my levers are maybe too downward but the drops are actually pretty comfy

Bars actually need to go up one or two degrees here and hoods up a tad.
Edit: actually maybe just rotate bars up. Hoods to bars transition looks good
