If you want to be even more confused, put a tape around your waist and observe how little your actual waist size corresponds to your jean size. Some high street brands deduct four inches from real size to their brand size.

Same with buying a dead tree book and not getting a kindle/whatever version. I want a book to put on my shelf so people know I read books, then a version to actually read because books are too heavy for my delicate wrists!

You still play a library of downloaded music? You're in a minority with cassettes and maybe minidisc.

I was with a Swiss friend who runs a few record labels the other week. He overheard a French girl say to her father outside a record shop in Camden“look it’s a shop selling those old fashioned big cds”.

Also why the fuck do trouser sizes go up in 2” increments?
I always seem to be right in the middle between sizes and usually have to have the waist adjusted, I’ve even seen bigger gaps once above a certain size.
I guess it’s all down to percentages of buyers vs price point et cetera. -

Vanity sizing is really frustrating

IKR? If I put my numbers into an online calculator, I'm a UK 22 for my bust and waist but a 14 for my hips...wtaf does that even mean and how is that helpful? Its all the more confusing because my waist size and hip size are the same in cm.
Edit: Ah no, my mistake...i'm a 22 all the way through.
Doesn;t explain why this size 22 dress doesn't fit though

Apparently, the circumference of your waist, and your waist size in trousers are different things. Learnt that at the weekend fron the new tailor in Greenwich market. Nice chap.

It's Daniel Friebe. His whiny tone rips my knitting out.
The untimely departure of Richard Moore, whom I did enjoy listening to, puts whino-saurus less on the fringe and more front of centere mores the pity.
buying an album on vinyl and not getting a download code with it. What if I want to listen to it in the car or on run?
I knew CDs were king.
