• I think they might be a bit too small.
    My sister will regularly have to get a newborn, 4yr old and 11yr old in the car at once on her own. And that’ll mean buggies etc in tow.

    I’m liking the look of the Ford C-Max and B-max, especially the ones with sliding doors.

  • I would say to check what car seats fit in. Some of the small people movers will take 3 car seats in the back row, some won't.

    We have a very boring Touran for this reason. Although it has a 1.4 petrol TSI engine, which is excellent and great for town miles.

  • 11yr old doesn’t need a seat any more, but it’d be tight between a child seat and baby seat. He’ll usually just go in the front seat when all 3 kids are in, but with the c-max’s pop up seats in the back, it gives extra options if there’s 2 adults in the car.

    As I say, no idea what she’ll actually want, but if she test drives a cmax and wants something bigger, we can look at tourans etc. but I think that having something too big for a run around would be a PITA.
    Who knows.
