  • Questions questions questions:
Has anyone on here towed a bike behind their cargo bike?
    How?
How else could I do it - bullit + madjax

I'm asking because, it might be nice to ride to swimming with #1, but then be able to carry the bike along when #1 collapses rather than insisting they "just pedal a bit fucking harder bucko"

  • I towed a trike with an Urban arrow :D. Had to have someone sitting in the trike steering and operating the brakes.

Initially we tried to remove the front wheel and kind of mount the forks to the rack, but We thought that wasn’t going to work because it was trike, so couldn’t lean.

Could be something to be explored with a regular bike? Donor front hub secured to rear of bullitt somehow. pop front wheel off daughters bike and mount with a qr? Or depending on the size of bicycle mount a few hooks to the outside of the box and secure the bike to it

  • You want a follow me I think.

  • I use one of these:

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Release-Bicycle-Carrier-Aluminum-Luggage/dp/B08BF8BZFT?th=1

Mounted with aluminium plate underneath.. works a treat

  • It sounds like for this use you need a FollowMe as mentioned but I've also seen TowWhee tow ropes recommended (depending on how old your kid is) if they're comfortable steering but they're tired.

I don't have a kid, but if I did I'd just ratchet strap them and their bike to the front of my Omnium
