She was beat on for a while, but she's been living a good retirement. Took me about a year to find all the parts and put this together. 1964 Kharkov Velocipyed Zavod Record.

Sorry for all the pics, but I'm pretty pleased that it's ridable again. The paint is surprisingly beautiful and the red/white pinstriping is lovely.

Gorgeous!

built this up as a full parts bin bike. A lot of things wrong with it, rear rim is a bit warped and you can feel it, front spokes are a bit too long so it should be a matter of time before it blows the inner tube...but hey, it totally works as a pub bike and I think it looks cool as shit

Had to install a Dia Compe clamp-on due to the hills.

I decided that having 2 ratty bikes was probably excessive, and bits were starting to fail on both, so rather than spend money on them both, I ended up combining all the decent bits from each into one, and I've ended up with this delightfully scruffy leave-anywhere bike.
