Brompton owners

I’m about 2 weeks in and not many rides so far - C-line black edition, flame lacquer.
No complete surprises... those gears though (it’s a 6 speed).

Things done or in progress so far:

• new saddle en route as I don’t get on with the Fizik Aliante R7
  
• saddle back and up on the Pentaclip. (How do people ride with the saddle forward as supplied??)
  
• a proper right hand pedal
  
• Ezy wheels
  
• Frame / stem clamps - spinny ones that stay in the right place ffs
  
• Ergon GP2 grips, trying them out
  
  

Things I’d like to be better:

• Ride quality. But I’m reluctant to do anything that might increase the chance of a roadside p*ncture so the stock tyres are board hard.
  
• Those gears - specifically the huge hub gear gaps. OK, part of it is just getting used to them I suppose, and most of the time it seems to be the case that I just leave the hub gear in 2 and use the derailleur to flip up and down. So I probably could have managed with a 2 speed.
