I don't know if in the case of a bespoke design he could (or anyone else) offer anything else than vinyl? (Maybe water slide decals are only available for classic brands or if great numbers are made?)
In any case having done both with and without clear coat on top of vinyl, it's better with. Also, the over-thickness feels less if lacquered over. Smoother at the edges, more durable, and neater
Make sure you're mega accurate in the location of the transfer on the frame with Mario. Diagram with dimensions ideally.
I was very pleased with H Lloyd decals on the Varonha.

I am looking into a new paintjob for the Raleigh again. I am going to get it resprayed by Mario Vaz. Somebody suggested H Lloyd Cycles for custom decals.
Steve from H Lloyd recommended vinyl decals.
What are other people using? Should I get the decals first so Mario can add a layer of clear coat on top? Or do I just stick them on like regular stickers?
