Met up with a mate last week & he spotted the longboard in the back of the car - mentioned he regularly works near Livingston & has his old skateboard in the back of his van for lunch hour sessions.
Reminded me of this short documentary on the history of the place & the architect who designed it - quite interesting if anyone's interested in UK skate history. The architect (Iain Urquhart) was apparantly fascinated by the shapes & forms that could be made in concrete in the context of a skatepark as they'd never be used anywhere else, well, not in the 80's anyway.
