Iv got a Konica a4 point and shoot.
Shit about 4 full rolls with it no issues.
However, it now comes up with this in the led screen when I take a picture. It will advance to one and then return to 0. This only happens when I use flash. If I don't use flash it works as normal.
It will advance the film with flash and with out but with flash the counter resets to 0 each picture and then after afew frames it will auto rewind. Not sure what to do. It's had a new battery if that helps

I’m going to try semi-stand developing Tmax 100 tomorrow.
Any tips?
The rolls are shot at box speed but ancient, long expired (thought well stored).
I have Rodinal. And was just going to do 2x40 mins with a 1:100 dilution because I have no idea what I’m doing :)

A theme of diagonals going on. Good stuff.

Just do 2x30
Or do 2x40 if you have something else to do that takes longer than an hour
Or forget about it and go to bed and finish it in the morningIt probably won't make any difference that you can notice.
As long as you agitate once in roughly the middle it usually prevents any problems with uneven development. How old is your film?

I think they expired 2012.
I went for 2x40 mins with an inversion every 20 and a proper agitation in the middle.
I haven’t scanned yet but they look quite good.
The mistake (I knew there would be one) was on loading the film onto stainless steel spirals. I should have (and have since) practiced. That bit was far harder than excepted in a dark bag cramped by a large, five-roll canister. I’ve only previously used plastic spirals (about 20 years ago) which I remember being pretty difficult to fuck up. Three of the rolls have some undeveloped patches where film touched film.
A good bit of learning. I plan to do more.

BalloonGirl is top stuff. Plays to the strength of the medium with those colour casts etc.

Really looking forward to getting my m6 back.
Also few weddings and events coming up this year and I'm thinking of a point and shoot for more informal things.
What would you all recommended for something that isn't going to cost the earth?

Has anyone been through the Schipol airport in Amsterdam with film, are they ok with hand checks? Tempted to take a film camera but worried about the film getting damaged in their CT scanners.

The only P&S film camera I've kept are Olympus Mju2 and Nikon L35AF. But these are quite overpriced now.
I don't own one currently but the Vivitar UltraWideSlim is really fun. Dirt cheap new, Instand shooting, Lomo vibes, tiny, 22mm lens, happy-accident camera. The complete opposite of the Leica.
Throw some random, cheep iso400 film through it and if you get a good shot with it you can guarantee it wont be like any other photo taken at the wedding.
