Hope Inglis certainly seems to have potential - I'm not sure whether it will be as an Eileen Gray (politics) or Beryl Burton - possibly both.

This is not a magic money tree, it's a modest help for promising young riders who might have been helped by John in the past. For anyone who doesn't know about John, he spent several decades taking young hopeful riders abroad (mainly Belgium) to learn the game. The Pedal Club helped him with a modest amount of finance, and now that John has retired (aged 90!) the club intends to carry on this tradition as well as it can.
