• Corny, it is very sad. We have this situation looming with my GF little boy, only 9 right now 'happy go lucky and very innocent'.. but his teenage years will be a test of character for him. We need to teach him to be smart and behave in a way as to not draw attention to himself, becoming a teenager is fraught enough with many risks.

    I think about those teenage friends of mine who faced discrimination and the damage it caused back then, a loss of innocence and abrupt end of childhood usually around an incident not of their making.

  • It is the 'super' heads, business managers (that float around like demi-gods in too many of these academies and teachers that failed this child that should be the first to feel the heat.
