Frank Lampard is going to get relegated and I couldn’t be more for it.

Burnley getting that no-manager bounce.
-
• #160929
That’s not the first time Saints have been on the receiving end of that. They frequently hit teams with either no manager of a new manager. We don’t cope well.

We actually played surprisingly well, a bit more passing and a bit more adventurous.
Forster had a stormer in the first half else we'd have been out of sight (not counting the very nervous first ten minutes).

Burnley were strong tonight for sure. Intent all over the pitch.
But Southampton were proper poor. Signed off for season I would say

It’s looking a ominous for the Blues here. Burnley are playing well and their run in includes a load of teams who will really have nothing much to play for. Ours includes Leicester, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. Goal difference won’t be getting any better on Sunday either.

Burnley shortlist is BFS or Benitez.
What have their fans done to deserve that?
-
• #160934
They wouldn't get Benitez, surely he's better than that?

You're not getting that from the evertonian wind-up twitter account are you?
-
• #160936
No-one seems to have the foggiest who we're going for (although it won't be BFS). Suspect we may end up with Michael Jackson until the end of the season.

Leicester chelsea and arsenal all beatable. Don't fancy your chances on Sunday though.
Burnley will have a tough game against a rested wolves side.
Business end of the season for sure

True, though Arsenal and Leicester are away from home and our away form is terrible. However Arsenal and Chelsea should still have plenty to play for, Leicester will hopefully be putting all their eggs in the europa conference basket.

Whilst I waste far more time on Twitter than I probably ought to, even I draw the line at following Evertonian wind up accounts.
My source is a long-suffering Burnley fan, not sure where she got it from but she’s usually a good source of north-west related football gossip.

You just replied to one.

Tavares gives me hope I can some how resurrect my career at left back as clearly it’s slim pickings.

Is there a football fan in the world who didn't enjoy the afternoon Fernandes just suffered? Brilliant stuff.

i attended a football
haven't been to the valley since the early 2000's, when checking for the start time i searched for the fixture in the 2nd division list, not realising they were now in the 3rd tier, what happened to them post curbishley. -

Sad to see Oldham drop out the football league, another awful case of mismanagement aided and abetted by the EFL. They were in the premier league until 1994.

I went to see Charlton play Lincoln a couple of weeks ago. First time at The Valley, and I enjoyed! 5 goals and 2 red cards!

I’m not a big fan of the EFL but I don’t think they could have foreseen how badly he was going to run the club. Lots of the issues (like selling the ground) predate his investment.
It’s certainly not in the same ballpark as when they let that stupid twat Steve Dale buy Bury and sell the debt to his own son in law.
Football club ownership will inherently attract the vain, clueless and stupid. I suspect Abdallah is all three but I don’t know how the EFL are supposed to spot those traits.

God this makes me hate Frank Lampard even more.

Cheers. Definitely looking more positive now, caretaker manager has done a great job.
Could do with Liverpool pulling their finger out though.

Lol, took a break to do some gardening, said to myself “need to bring Origi on, that will fuck them up”
Come back in, Origi on, 1 -0 up, and now he’s put one in himself. What a guy.
Unpopular opinion: AssPee is a worse nickname than “The Sheriff”.
