Bar end shifters for SA 3-speed hub
I managed to snap another bar end shifter for my 3-speed SA hub based shopping bike, and now it emerges the official SA 3 speed indexed shifters are completely unavailable anywhere.
In another thread, someone recommended I might be able to use a relatively generic bar end friction shifter for the time being. I can deal with not having snappy click points for the time being if I can actually ride my darn bike not stuck in top gear.
Anything I need to know? Will any bar end friction shifter do as long as I'm careful with it?
