Cheers for the heads up. What time did you go? We’ve got a 6.20am crossing so hoping it’ll be relatively quiet anyway

Train was at 1250 Thurs so we left ~09.15 and got on the one before.
TBH the train was pretty quiet. Quite busy coming back, but there were a load of fast cars so there may have been some sort of meet which might have accounted for it.

Oof why would you do that to yourself?
We did Chunnel at midday and it was fine getting there - we ended up crossing an hour earlier even after killing time at a services. There's 13mi of 50mi average zone but the truck park was empty. It was busier (the truck parking) on the way back but we still crossed earlier than booked and it was pretty chilled coming back.

@soul FYI. Google said to go M20, but the whole way round the m25 and M2 there were constant signs advising the M2 not M20 for tourists.
Journey down was fine. Albeit a bit odd having to go back up the M20 for a couple of junctions at the end. On the return journey the M20 was slow both ways, so I'd probably recommend the M2. Obviously it may change and Ymmv.
