Good choice. I prefer the handling of the mid-engined Porsches to the rear-engined ones. As long as you're not bothered by the Clarksonesque rationale of it being a 'poor man's Porsche', which frankly is an argument only fit for Golf Club willy-waving, I think it's a better choice unless you really really need two very small rear seats.
Yeah, that was largely my thoughts too. 4 seats might be useful on the odd occasion I would need to transport both 2 kids, but unlikely to happen - we have made do with one car for long enough
