Noted. The buyer was open about the likelihood of it being split.
It’s quite tricky sorting through offers and PMs; with one or two exceptions all the interested parties were likely to have done the same. The exceptions, sadly, came along a little too late.

Personally, the splitting is a shame, but the profiteering is the provocation.

I cannot disagree. 'Tis the way of the world.
But I had mentally prepared myself for that outcome and I was aware of what the parts could have achieved if I’d split the bike myself, if I had wanted to put the time in. Hopefully the frame will find its way to someone that enjoys it and bungs a load of nice bits on it again.
