I like it and tried on the black dial/green bezel version this week. It's the most ok too big for me watch I've tried on so far. Lots of stiff competition for that type of watch at that price point though so i went with the other one

New daily watch 🤮 Forerunner 55. Finally succumbed to the fact that this probably just suits me better than an actual watch. Would’ve liked a Fenix but they’re obnoxiously large. Got this over an Apple Watch as the battery life is like 2 weeks unless recording activity, where it’ll still last for around 20 hours of GPS tracking. Also considered an Instinct but they’re a bit too rugged looking for an every day watch IMO. Don't know if this is the smart watch I'll end up with but so far I'm not not hating it.

Never got around to posting this. Was tasked with finding an appropriate watch for my dad for my parents 40th (ruby).

@Regal suggested the Anordain with the plum dial. Managed to snag the only one in the UK from James Porter after chatting with the guys at Anordain.

It was transported to France and given to him last September. He’s barely worn any other watch since.

Immediately regretted such a basic watch, returned it and got a Solar Instinct 2S. S for small. Much better and still actually wearable.
