Bus drivers are frequently cunts who drive dangerously, you may not mind sharing a lane with them but many more vulnerable / less confident road users will feel differently
Peds are the most vulnerable road users - they have to share their bus stop with cyclists and scooterpeople in this scenario. It's really not ideal.
