Gutted Turner didn’t get a top ten. Should be absolutely ecstatic with 11th in his first ride. What a monster

He's not bad in dutch as well. Few years ago he was still doing cycling commentary on regional tv in Limburg.

Wish you all a happy Classics season, as usual Ardennes can get tae fuck.

• #39305
Nice story. Didn’t know.

Intermarche Wanty got six riders in the top 25. Fair play.

So many punctures. Are tubeless worse than tubs in this respect?
-
• #39308

So what happened to Lewis Askey then?
-
• #39311
He was riding on a flat for awhile and the rim finally failed.

I’d still always plump for Leclerc or Auchan if I’m honest. Lots are Intermarches were a bit run down and shabby. The equivalent of Morrisons or Asda in my ranking.
Anyway - that was the best PR since Hayman’s win. Couldn’t look away.

That was warm and dry too. Any of you wet Roubaix fans beginning to see a pattern yet?
-
• #39314
Last year was pretty great wasn't it?
-
• #39315
Fully on board that dry Roubaix is better. There’s more than enough peril.
-
• #39316
It’s a good race, wet or dry.
Haven’t there only been two wet ones in ~20 years, hard to argue a pattern either way. -
• #39317
Dry = Better Race
Wet = Better entertain from suffering -
• #39318
I know. I’m gently trolling.
-
• #39319
Ha I did suspect.
I certainly wouldn’t ride the mass event in the wet, Arenburg was carnage in ever so slightly damp from earlier in the week conditions -
• #39320
Wet = better photos
-
• #39321
Dry = better exposure for sponsors
-
• #39322
It's ROI that keeps me watching year after year.

Froomewatch - finished 7.21 down on a midi mountain stage at Tour of the Alpes.
He’s not bad on the ground. More reporting on Sir Brad’s whereabouts.
