continuous light mode
If it draws power from the light cable then yes you will need to have your lights on to supply power to it.
The bosch motor version either piggy backs on the power for the head unit or has a dedicated port.
Having your lights on all the time is not that big deal with an ebike. Draws very little power.
They're contacting powunity but I thought I'd check here as I was sure others had done it. Also, do you have to have the light on all of the time? It says you have to set your light to 'continuous light ' mode and I know that's where it draws power but does the light always have to be on? Just seems a bit shit to have your lights blaring all the time.
@MCamb I've got 2 kids under 2 and zero time, I looked at buying and fitting one myself but would just rather have someone sort it.
