@pdlouche - Leave the bars alone, they're comfy bikes. It's 20+ years since I rode one but I definitely don't recall them needing a steering damper either, so maybe save your cash for a nice Nitron rear shock and a fork rebuild.

But I found the 2000 bike really good and still one that wanted me to break every speed limit.
