I have a set of Hope LED lights uo for grabs. (£90) NOW £85 NOW £80 NOW £75 to me, UK posted.
I've owned these from new and they have been used mainly for commuting and the Vision 2 for a couple of Mountain Mayhems and the odd night ride.
The bundle includes:
Vision 2 LED unit
Vision 2 handlebar mount
District LED unit (it's the MK2 district)
District seat post mount and the 3 different sized adapters
Charger
2x Hope batteries
Extension cable
Splitter cable
Head harness
Helmet mount
Handle bar clamp adapters for 25.4mm bars ( 31.8mm fitted at present)
Boxes for both
Hope stickers
Manual for the District (I've lost the one for the Vision 2 but they're available online on the Hope websit.)
One of the batteries has some insulation tape round it, it's only so that I can remember which is which. There is a "knack" to charging the batteries. The one without the insulation tape needs to have a little gap left when connected to the charger (see pic). The other battery needs pushing in all the way and holding firmly while the charger is turned on then it can be left. They've both been like that for years and I've just got on with it. With these, as per the manual, you plug the battery in to the charger then turn the charger on at the wall, the light on the charger stays red whilst charging and green when fully charged.
Both batteries are fully charged, I last used them when I trailed my Scouts on a night hike earlier in the month with no issues (other than their woeful map reading skills because we wouldn't let them use their phones).
Hope have been brilliant and one of the batteries was replaced by them (I can't remember which I'm afraid) when it was a few years old as the lead became loose, well out of any warranty and after a quick email they just asked for me to send it back and I got a new one by return. They also lent me some batteries for an inept solo atemp at Mayhem.
If you need any more details or additional pics please message me. Not really after any swaps/PX but could be tempted to do a deal for a 29er SS disc wheel set or 29er Shimano freehub wheel set with 135mm QR rear.
