Yes, it's great tubing. the tubeset might be a bit heavier than standard 531, but this really is needed for a fully loaded and fast moving proper tourer which needs to be extra tough to stop cracking etc due to the extra loads. Of course the frame builder has something to do with it, too:) And it seems quite a pity that they stopped making the tubing, but at the same time it might mean that because of this my bike is likely to be one of the last great tourers made, as I don't think there's many other really classy tubesets with the same qualities around for the more recent bikes:)

The last of the 531ST tubesets went out with these stickers I think, they make lovely frames.
