seatpost
@Maj that is exactly what I'm going for. The material used for that rando box is something I might make some bags out of
@launchpadboi if only I actually owned them :(

Enjoying the mood boards, build looks like it’s taking shape nicely too. Can definitely get behind clear bags

That stealth reflective tape could be nice if you plan on a lairy flash-lit carpark photoshoot, xcx style -

Single NW chainring on the inside or outside positon of 1x drivetrain?

outside would look a lot cleaner, but depending on the bottom bracket could give you a bad chainline.
-
• #21
inside would be more fucntional, utlitarian, countercultural against the focus on elegance in current style zietgeist, queering the crankset, all of which i think charlie would support and add up to make it the most aesthetic option and in keeping with the brief.

Outside and a short bb

Took me a good couple of months to be able to ride a bike after Covid. Make sure you’re resting friend
Chainring on inside is fine if it gives you a better chainline. as mentioned charli would probably approve of queer/gay rights crankset

I've removed logos and decals from wheels, brakes, saddle and stem.
Just waiting for headset and RD before getting the frame chased and faced and cabled.
Bar tape I'm thinking Newbaums padded in black?
Saddle is a Bontrager Aeolus which isn't the coolest thing in the world. I usually would use a Flite Ti but as this bike is (hopefully) going to be used for 100km+ rides it makes sense to be more sensible and take an aesthetic hit.
Tyres on the second hand wheels I bought are Gravelking SK tanwalls in 35mm set up choobless. I chose 700c as the price on the wheels was too good to pass up; 650b would have been nice though. I'm thinking of replacing them with some Rene Herse Bon Jon Pass in black/black.
Chainring is a FOUL raceface narrow/wide 40t, I'll see how I like that size then might get something a bit more lowkey.
Once it's ridable I'll start working on bags and things like that. -

you can mount the racefaces the other way and it's a little more toned down
