These are really nice!
-
• #63503
Yeah! But only on one model, the carbon cased one. The others are just regular white dials.

I suspect these might be killer IRL if you have the wrist for it.
That side-on pic is the new diver btw. The GMT has a fixed bezel.

Oh really? That's a shame...

Ask and you shall receive. Not too much info online, have owned it for 4/5 years - circa 1970s - Valjoux 7733. Who doesn’t love a vintage chrono / diver?

Absolutely fantastic. I briefly owned a 70s Renis with the same movement, I believe. When the hands were aligned a certain way the name on the dial said something different. Fun watch.

Friend of mine had a horror show with a Primero FYI. Auth dealer and it stopped working after a couple weeks. Currently trying to get money back.

Hmm. I’m hoping it will be fine. Always a little risk with watches right? Surely can usually just get it serviced.

• #63512
Really. That could be super helpful. I’ll drop you a pm

Geniunely thought I’m looking at Christopher award.

Edward pls. This is not what Christopher Wards look like.
These are more or less the size of my SLA017. Want to see how wearable they are with the 22mm lug width and whatever the lug to lug comes out at.

It is a stone cold banger

• #63517
Its got a GS power reserve on the dial for one
-
• #63518
A spring drive power reserve.

At least getting an aftermarket dive strap will be easier than the 19mm....

Never understood why the power reserve triggers people so hard. I don't mind it at all and I kind of like that it has become a signature of the spring drive watches.
-
• #63521
Yeah, and I think it would be great on a good rubber strap. I fear the bracelet is going to be a real cuff. I like a bit of taper.
-
• #63522
It is actually also really useful. I think the detailing on the reserve indicators are some of the most beautiful features of GS watches.
-
• #63523
The hand on its own is ridiculously nicely finished. Would have liked the dial to have had the inset / carved out sector like the snowflake et al have, rather than just having the markings printed on, but maybe that's not something they do on their sport watches.

In other GS news, here's a limited edition manual-wound 36.5mm pink dial box-crystal 44GS. Crumbs.
Ngl, if it wasn't pink, the piggy bank might be getting smashed.

I might be in HK before end of May - if I can help lmk
