Is the 12 speed Sram road stuff (12 speed in general) prone to wearing quickly?
A mate has bought a bike second hand that has done a supposed ‘1000km’ and the big ring is gubbed.
Personally I’ve only ever worn one set of chainrings out because I keep on top of chain wear.
Narrower chains presumably don’t help in all of this.
I got tarty Red AXS rings and the wear seems better than 11spd so far. Chain with OCD levels of cleaning did a year, gone to wax on the replacement and too early to tell.
