Not sure what @snoops will make of this, probably argue that if there were sprint lanes the incoming riders could’ve used them to avoid him.

It’s covered in 2.12.007, 1.6:

Recrossing the finish line in the direction of the race while still
displaying body number or frame number

He should be fined CHF 200, no relegation option. Pls read the rules.

I’d have dq’d him. It’s fine on a mountain stage when the team buses are back down the finishing climb, but not in a one day race on a flat finish.
