  • Love those dual polished straps and if you've looked at those pictures more than 3 times today then you know what to do

  • maybe everyone is just waiting for the X Rapha launch

I thought this was a joke..... But Bremont / Rapha is a thing....

  • ^Pointless.

In other news, found myself cycling down Oxford Street yesterday. There must have been 50 people, all men in baseball caps, queuing to buy - and presumably flip - a Moonswatch.

  • ^Pointless.

I dont disagree... Thats why it surprised me so much... a real WTF why moment...

  • I’m surprised at their choices of watch, big watch with two crowns isn’t exactly comfortable.

Was expecting them to create an Explorer type watch that’s much more comfortable to cycle with.

Also, Rapha more of a Christopher Ward than Bremont really, like the one that @skinny partnered with.

    ooof.... burn

  • The Rapha / Bremont collab just smacks of someone being in charge of it on the Rapha side who knows nothing about watches. They're British? Ok, cool. Make it black with pink highlights, yeah? Job done.

  • someone being in charge of it on the Rapha side who knows nothing

    Rapha gonna Rapha

  • Rapha and Bremont are both young companies which will try anything to create some instant heritage. Bremont's pilot fetish is the equivalent of a jersey with Galibier in big letters.

  • Bremont needs Rapha

  • If you told me there was a rapha collab watch I'd expect it to be a chrono, maybe simple mono pusher with some fluff around timing hill climbs or something

  • Rapha X Garmin

  • I feel a bit dirty after doing that.

  • A cycling collab watch needs to double as a knuckle duster, for road rage and smashing of car windows and mirrors. A Panerai Egiziano or a James Cameron Seadweller would do well, but they're a bit golf club, like nearly everything in this thread. Invicta would be more appropriate. https://www.invictawatch.com/watches/detail/34577-us-army-men

  • Jesus Christ the first one that came up!

  • helium escape valve?! Whats that rated too? 4.23m?

  • No. That's the inner bezel depth.

  • They're only three quid per millimetre of case width. And nobody will pull out in front of you when you wear one, I guarantee it.

  • @nick_h. you should get one! Report back on it

  • I'm tempted. But if it doesn't have weekday it will live in a drawer with ten other watches.

  • Not the GMT we want, but the one we deserve.

  • It's not often that a watch actually offends me. Especially not a non-Hublot.

  • The first time i saw the watch i thought it was just a mock up. Turns out it wasn't and the finished article is every bit as shit as i feared for all the reasons everyone else has already pointed out. There are a couple of Bremonts that i actually quite like so I'm not a hardline hater as soon as i hear the name mentioned

This is me. I quite like them... But this
    ....

    Can anyone say money grab

  • Bremont have some nice looking watching but not in a way I want to part with £5k for one. They feel a bit like hommages or like kickstater microbrand designs but slightly more polished. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh on them, in my mind they're next to Montblanc that make expensive pens and sometimes also some watches.
