I did get a couple of flats with Veloflex Corsa Evo even though I only had them on for a few weeks.
Two things I’d mention about them them are that they are ridiculously comfortable and plush while feeling really fast. Talking about “feeling” fast as I have no way to prove/disprove that. Best feeling tire I’ve ever run no doubt 👍
On the other hand as we said a little more puncture prone used on UK lanes/London roads and they blow up small. I had 28s and they were much smaller than any other 28 I’ve used to the point that I had a couple of sidewall blowouts using 28-32 sized inner tubes. This was on 18mm internal rims.
If you’re looking for a summer tire for fast rides on decent roads I’d absolutely recommend them. For general summer use I’d say they are worth a shot for the comfort. Plus they look great…!
No experience with Contis as their famed ultra stiff ride always put me off. Interesting to hear things might have improved with the latest 5000s but I’m yet to try a non cotton tire that gets anywhere near the supple ride of Veloflex/Vittoria.
Just found veloflex had more flats - my conti gp5000 tubeless were fit and forget (apart from occasional sealant squirts) for 2 years, all seasons.
