We went to a private screening of Nightmare Alley last night. i recalled that on watching the trailer last year, 'damn they must have cut the lighting budget'.. it was very atmospheric, daytime scenes wintry, unforgiving. Some parts reminded me of early Coen Brothers films like Barton Fink.
Bradley Cooper was great, GF spent most of the night hiding behind her popcorn..
