+1
Although I really like the concept of the 24hr dial markers.
TBH I don't think the Tudor is as bad as people are making out aesthetically. As with the last one I think having 3 snowflake hands balances the look more than the 2 hand versions.
It does have a whiff of Steinhert(sp?), but overall it's a good looking watch. I think no crown guards works with the overall more round proportions.
The big thing for me, is all the non-PR shots show the side profile as being such a massive slab.

I really like the new Citizen, the price is surprisingly steep tho at nearly £800.

Has looked at Seiko SPBs at ~£900 and thought, I want a bit of that

Plus, what do they have in titanium under £900?

That looks lovely. I'm looking for a leather strap for mine at the moment. Whist we're on GS i was about to pull the trigger on a BB 58 39mm for something different and chunkier more everyday than my SBGPO13 but the SBGN019 & 021 popped up and now I'm torn. Anyone here have any experience with either? Or any suggestions of similar i should be looking at? 40mm max and £3.5k budget just to confuse me even more

The quartz GMTs are nicely done. I think these are really cool though if GMT functionality is not required -

There are a couple of colours/variants. They are not widely available in the UK but the GS boutique can supply.

Also the first model they did in that design was a super nice sandy-grey-coloured dial on a green strap, really love that one. SBGV245.
They are a tad dressier, slightly different case, crown position, hands etc. but the same basic design language.

All lovely thats this evenings entertainment sorted
This has immediately bumped the 019 & 021 GMT down/off the list so i think it's this or the BB 58. This may come down to availability but I'll enquire tomorrow 🤞

I don’t think you’ll have any availability issues. The GS boutique in Knightsbridge had both black and white versions last time I was there and it looks like you can order the white one from the online boutique.
BB58 is available everywhere, no stock issues for those anymore.

Thanks for the info. I think the video i posted must have been just after it's initial release. My local watches of Switzerland have confirmed BB delivery inside a week and they'll px my Santos I'm moving on to part fund this. I should be able to shift that elsewhere easily enough though if i go for the GS. Saying that anyone fancy a Santos? I do have a habit if letting stuff go cheap if I've decided i really want something as I'm impatient so a bargain could be had.

I mean, it is not an official UK/EU release - ADs like WOS won’t carry it. But the GS boutique do a nice line in importing JDM models. They can get hold of most in-production models if you ask and often just have stuff in the cases that isn’t listed on the UK site.
It looks great in that vid btw.
The thing about the 1655 is that it has utterly terrible legibility. The Tudor wins hands-down if you like the overall design.
