update time!
The commuter/touring T1000 has been dialed in, will need to mount racks for the summer tour and will switch to a regular 2x11 when parts become available again. But it will do for now, loving this for daily duties.
Parts box for the Sayer is almost full, wheels are ready, recently completed the 9170 group and ordered the remaining parts today! Think I will let a real mechanic assemble this as I have no experience with discs. Hope to have it out by end of the month!

Looks wicked, was wondering what BB length you've used for those cranks to give a 1x chainline?
-
• #85
My order history states it's a 113, as I could not find the recommended 115/116. But I mounted the chainring on the outside which should offset it just a nudge.

Just can’t get enough of that paint.

Well, if the planets align and work permits. I might plan a little bike trip with a mate end of summer. Which would require a set of matching custom bags.

Ah man, this is the nuts!! Work's been mental and I've not been keeping up but adding my admiration to all the above. Can't wait to see it when it's fully ready and 9170 will look bang on. I'll need to ride over your way this summer to see it in the flesh.

Tacos. Willis?

Yup, trying to make the Genetic AQ (with laser etched logo's) a bit less ugly.
Put the Stayer frame, uncut fork, stem, enve bars, beater seatpost and the hose on a scale. Came out a touch under 2.5kg, hope to have it somewhere between 7.5-8kg in the end. Which would still be ok for a steel Columbus Max frame.
Definitely a lot more than my Supersix, which is a svelte 6.7kg.

Heh, missed your comment.
We'll work something out, I was planning on doing some rides closer to you. But alas, the bike is still in pieces and work has been insane here also.

No worries, I've got a busy couple of months coming up and am fairweather AF anyways so let's coordinate when summer has us all whinging about how bloody hot it is :)

Crappy phone pic for content.
Managed to wrestle 28mm Vittoria's on the LB AR45 flyweight rims with old 240s hubs that I picked up last week from a friend who built them. The rear is about 92g heaver without cassette, but alas no pic. No shop in the EU did seem to have 160mm DA/XTR rotors in stock and the silver hurts my eyes.Loaded up all the parts this morning to drop it off at my LBS for assembly after work. Should have it end of week!

Picked it up yesterday at the LBS, shakedown ride has been done and it flies!
Complete build was about 8.2kg, might drop slightly with a sisl2 upgrade, but the frame is pretty hefty so ymmv.
Sadly the carbonworks cages do not fit with the band on fd adaptor, so might look into something else.
Full pics coming soon!
