I should add that Brasserie Zedel is still probably the best all round value dining experience in London. If you haven’t been then get yourself down there sharpish, it will be like visiting Cuba before Fidel died.

I think the food doesn't really match the decor, if they could bump it up to the level of
Pierre Victoire/ Prix Fixe it would be brilliant.

Look at the prices though, a decent steak hache with fries and a chocolate tart for £12 in a fantastic room. It makes a special night out accessible to the many rather than the few.
