The kalita is a bit smaller, fine for ~250ml but if you want to brew more than that go for a v60. I find the kalita tends to suffer less from the fines collecting at the bottom and slowing the pour like can happen with the v60 sometimes, I guess the kalita is a bit more forgiving. I use both interchangeably. The kalita filters are slightly harder to come by and slightly more expensive
Can anyone here speak to the difference between cone (v60) and flat bottom (kalita style) brewers?
Some people said you can get different flavours and textures. Some say only thing that really makes a difference is ratios. Anyone here want to add their 2p before I spend £40 on an Orea?
