Yeah I heard it when visiting my partner’s parents. Still a very confusing sight to see a load of Austrians jumping up and down shouting Johnny De(ä)pp every time it came on. I’m guessing it means something, unless they’re just really big fans of The Tourist?

I think Däpp means idiot or something similar but is pronounced the same as Depp. The rest of the song I have no idea. There’s loads of similar random songs that are massive in ski apres bars over winter and then I think Malaga in summer where the musicians just have a life of touring ski bars and beach bars all year pretty much.

An absolute masterpiece, but only in Austrian ski towns. Anywhere else it sounds like an abomination.
