Haha - there's not an appreciable delta in speed between the Bird and a Blade / GSXR of the same era....The lighter bikes are definitely more fun though.

Well, ideally I want something that tops out around 140, maaaaaybe 150 with a fair wind. I don’t need confirmed 180mph.
Suppose what I’m saying is, I want the missile, not the rocket it was launched from.
Fully faired? One of most amounts of fun I had was on Daytona 675. Light, nimble, reliable, and screams. Would have another in a heart beat.
