Hmmm, not really my style but I don't know enough about suits to know what my style is. I haven't worn one since the last wedding I went to a few years ago.

Another good suggestion! Thanks. Maybe I'll figure out what sizing I actually need and go from there.

Any interest in a brand new pair of Drakes games cords? Bought at the sample sale couple weeks ago but I was being optimistic with sizing and these are too small. 30 inch waist. £125

Toast used to do menswear, I was gifted a pair of nice selvage jeans. They are the worst/strangest fitting jeans. Very wide taper. Hopefully the new range is a better cut, because the fabrics are lovely.

A lot of the women in my family like wearing Toast. I always always think the fabrics are what makes them so nice, hopefully the new mens line is as good.

How do you properly maintain socks? I feel I buy 'expensive' socks that are billed as lasting forever but mine develop holes in weeks. I vary my shoes. I don't wear a single pair for months on end. What am I doing wrong? They're typically thickish ones for boots. I put them in a general washing cycle.
Is there a bomb proof sock? Where's good to get them?

Cut yer toe nails, make sure shoes/boots fit properly (so no unnecessary rubbing of foot/sock/shoe interface), wash at 30°, low spin, no tumble drying.

Usually a hole underneath the call of my heel so perhaps a boot fit issue. Think I'll look into chainmail.

Or lots of rough/dead skin on your heel, treat yourself, get your feet done (it's rather pleasant).

Bought a wool sweater by British Wool - JM Cooper Knitwear from a chandlers in Norfolk for £60. Made in England. Would have been £350 fro. Drake's.

Wells next the sea. It is a very nice sweater.
Agree on North Norfolk. Great holiday with kids. Third year we have been up here.

Up there this weekend hopefully!
I’m North Norfolk born and bred (well actually born in south Norfolk but 🤷♂️) -

I'm more of a Suffolk man. Can feel at ease in Aldeburgh wearing white jeans (or red chinos).

I had no idea white jeans caused such great offence until it took up about 2 pages in the golf club thread

Obviously we are the sort of whoppers who have started looking on Rightmove and thinking, ooh, wouldn't it be lovely to have a home here.
It really is very nice though. Where you going to be this weekend?

Bloody love north Norfolk, friends live in Cley, I visit for a long weekend every summer, then nip down the road to Suffolk, which I also bloody love, and spend a few days with my dad in Woodbridge. I don't wear white jeans in either place, and nor should anyone else, well maybe Liz Hurley can get away with it.
That's not a bad shout actually, might give that a go.
