That sounds annoying, but it's good to hear that I'm not alone. I'm a pretty head-up cyclist, as I'm mainly just out to see the countryside, but I've also got really long legs so my saddle's quite high relative to my bars. I wonder if this means that I'm putting pressure on my neck and shoulders, so perhaps I just need a higher-rise stem.
I also wonder if I need to sort out my pelvis position, but I'm not suffering any back pain, so I'm not sure that's the problem.
@ffm I get horrible headaches after long rides, I think one thing is lack of refueling, despite the fact I feel like I have energy while riding. The sunglasses/pressure suggestion seems off in my case because the headaches are so bad, although I do ride a fairly, but not awful, low position. I have also worried about sinusitis (which has given me all kinds of grief in the past). I also think it might be general stress, I get so angry and hyped up while I ride, it all comes out!
