  • Ah cool, not far. I've nearly had to sell most of my internal organs to buy a house in herongate road. It's jolly nice around here though. And I didn't realise I had an enormous shed in the garden which is like a small workshop. I think that is what has topped my happiness list thus far.

  • House buying is mad. Biggest investment you can ever make and you still end up being surprised by what is in the garden.

On the other hand, how are you finding the 30 minute walk to the nearest coffee shop?

  • I only realised when we had eventually exchanged contracts that we looked at the house only once, for 10 minutes.

What you on about, there's a costa at the Esso.

  • Technically there is a coffee/tea hut just inside the park 5 mins away where you can also buy sandwiches and cakes. It is an isolated location and you can't really get away from that but I think that is both aldersbrooks best and worst point simultaneously.

I've sort of viewed it as moving to the countryside without actually having to do so.

I've also got a decent bean to cup machine in my kitchen so Gail's and Costa and all of them can get to fuck as far as I'm concerned.
