I think the Tudor Freccione* is a bit of fun - it's the official homage channel for Rolex.

I don't like the snowflake hands, but they're undeniably a Tudor thing so you have to accept them if you have a modern Tudor really, much as you might wish otherwise.

There’s a fine recent history of really ugly patterned dial datejusts. Not unexpected. There must be a market that loves them.

Rolex don’t really do that though. They lean into the “original and best” kind of stuff with the oyster case and date cyclops etc but they’ve never called back to an old model with the aim of recreating it. That’s something that other brands are desperate to do to qualify their heritage.
