    Staying hydrated is the key as you'll lose a surprising amount of water. Keep plenty of fluids around that you'll be inclined to drink (squash etc). Ideally get hold of some Dioralyte or your favourite non-branded rehydration sachets. 1-2 of them a day will keep your salts up. If your wee goes dark you're not drinking enough.
    Eat as you're able, but you probably won't be feeling up to much.
    Good stock of loo roll.
    Good hand hygiene and try not to prepare any food for others while you're unwell, where possible.
    When it's all over give everything you touched a spray down with disinfectant.
