I thought that was the path from Strathblane to Dumgoyne.👌
Yip pipetrack from Drymen to Aberfoyle, your reference to Loch Katrine made it clear to me why it's called that now.
I think MV has it, that's the route I'd take or you could WHW to Inversnsaid then round Loch Katrine then QEF.
I was sitting on the top of Dumgoyne one day and saw someone descending off the back of the Campsies towards Killearn. It looked fiercely fast, I've never worked out how he got there...

Inversnaid>towards Aberfoyle at the T junction and onto the forest tracks at this junction better than going round Loch Katrine surely?
TBH though, neither the road climb from Inversnaid nor the off road version from Cailness is something I'd willingly undertake given pretty much any other option!
I will!
I say entirely … I think it could be 90% off road.
I need to figure out an off road way from Killearn to the edge of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. I admit this will be the tricky part, it might take a stretch on the A81 if I can’t cut across some fields.
Have you tried to link Killearn up towards Gartmore before?
