I only tried it on for a minute before having to run out the house.
First day wearing it today, triple sensor is probably overkill for the commute to Tileyard but I’m enjoying it so far.

Watch looks both rugged AND adventurous. Think you made the right call.
PS - Doughnut bar tape is amazing.

Yeah, the green does look good and case dimensions are perfect. Also like that they switched to a silver rotor. rather than gold. Be interested in the dial finish as states its metallic. Looks like film grain.

Which you could argue both look very similar to an IWC Calatrava from the same era. Who knows.

very moog. Nice!

Love the green. They literally did copy the Rolex palette though, didn't they.

Kinda, with the script. But not the lugs, or the markers, dot track, etc. Those IWCs are straight Patek imitations.
Anyway, Japanese watches of that era were obsessed with imitating Swiss watches (could argue GS still are), so, yeah, not an enormous amount of innovation, but it's about the execution and the small details. I do think those new Citizens are pretty clearly "inspired" by Grand Seiko product of the last decade or two if you look at the cases and dials.

I think I have a few. They're fine, probably a little better than a cheapo one. Very long, although that's what some people want from their NATO
