I appreciate the case back featuring an engraving of the Birmingham 2022 logo, I am not a big fan of the “Limited Edition – 1 out of 2022” writing. If it’s a limited edition release, it should in my opinion include individually numbered watches.

I can't imagine there are 2022 people in the world who want a Birmingham Commonwealth games edition of a Longines Hydroconquest. Hard to believe there are 22.

Seeing this more and more often. Apparently it’s because people get really pissy about being allocated certain numbers. It causes a lot of grief at the retailers.

Its not the worst looking watch ever.

Plus it saves on engraving costs...

Nah, it’s all just laser engraved like a serial number. No cost difference.

I haven't actually seen it in the flesh just something I was told.

Yeah, not sure why I thought it would be cheaper/ easier to produce 1000 of the same thing than 1000 different ones, but its all computers now so it won't make any difference.
